Maintenance is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The types of roles available require troubleshooting, ensuring proper maintenance and operational status of equipment, using a variety of hand tools to set up, disassemble, adjust production line machinery, and perform other related functions to hydraulics and pneumatics, all of itmaking safety the number one priority. Maintenance requires the ability to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information.

In carrying out maintenance duties, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or damp conditions with slippery surfaces; mechanical moving parts; fast hot/cold environment. Positions require standing for the entire shift and the use of PPE is mandatory in all areas of the facility.

Main responsibilities

Perform repetitive tasks. Examples include:

• Using hand tools to perform maintenance on production machinery
• Ensuring food safety and quality
• Cleaning and cleaning

Qualifications required

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to understand and use blueprints, schematics and installation/operation manuals to install and repair equipment
• Previous maintenance experience
• Be able to work for 1st or 2nd shift

Preferential qualifications

• 3 years of previous maintenance experience
• Previous experience at Cargill
• Work history in the past 12 months
• Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
