Facility maintenance is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. Plant maintenance mechanics are responsible for installing, removing plastic at water leaks, repairing leaks by patching or caulking, maintaining cooling sheds, floor repairs, ceiling repairs, walls, metal fabrication assistance, general maintenance of the skeleton construction siteAnd. PIT operations include scissor lifts, forklifts, boom lifts, pallet trucks, skid steers, tractors. Facility maintenance requires the ability to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information.

While performing plant maintenance duties, the employee is regularly exposed to humid and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; mechanical moving parts; fast hot/cold environment. Positions require standing for the entire shift and the use of PPE is mandatory in all areas of the facility.

Main responsibilities

• Perform repetitive tasks. Examples include:
• Using hand tools to perform maintenance on production machinery
• Ensuring food safety and quality
• Cleaning and cleaning

Qualifications required

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to understand and use blueprints, schematics and installation/operation manuals to install and repair equipment
• Previous maintenance experience

Preferential qualifications

• 3 years of previous maintenance experience
• Previous experience at Cargill
• Work history in the past 12 months
• Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
