for Protein Sales Associate Position
for As a protein sales associate, you will seek independent, localized, and business-facilitated development. You will gain technical knowledge about animal protein processing; including process flow, performance, variances, USDA regulations, accounting, and information technology. Additional training will be provided in basic business functions, leadership skills, personal and professional development, and professional salesas you develop your skills as a sales professional. It will take place in a collaborative, multi-level team environment, actively pursuing passive, hands-on experiences that effectively set you up for success. for Consider the opportunity to join a structured training and development program designed to develop specific skills and knowledge while being exposed to all facets of our protein business operations. The training is designed to teach the various aspects of the business prior to placement in a role that aligns the candidate with the needs of the business. It is very likely that some of the training will take place in a processing facility, and periods of work in cold or humid environments should be expected. forforThe following information describes the one-year training program. for

This training enables the individual to become familiar with the business operations workflow and develop knowledge about productionmeat processing, including food safety and general production management. Associates will receive training in a number of areas to learn skills and knowledge vital to being successful in a sales leadership position. After the training program, associates will be placed in an account manager role that aligns the candidate with business needs. forfor Main responsibilities
- Apply a broad theoretical knowledge of work to sell directly to customers.
- Participate in all training/development programs as recommended.
- Request and deliver sales quotes, proposals, presentations, and product demos as instructed.
- Identify and communicate with potential customers.
- Develop customer relationships that generate future sales and repeat business.
- Perform under minimal direction and independently handle complex office, administrative, technical, and customer support issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level personnel.

Job locations:
- Multiple US locations
- Office environment with trips to plants for training as needed
- Travel approximately 20% or less
Necessary qualifications
- Currently pursuing or have recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited program with a graduation date between December 2021 and August 2022
- Geographically flexible and willing and able to move to various places in the United States
- Right to work in the United States that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by an outside employer
- Capacityand willingness to travel up to 20%, as required
- Valid US driver’s license
- Proven ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to contribute, both as part of a team and individually
- Strong communication skills – written and oral
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited program with a specialization in Agricultural Business, Agricultural Economics , farm management or a similar agricultural subject area
- Previous internship or cooperative experience
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher based on a 4.0 scale
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to influence decision-making
- Leadership skills and experience
