Job description

WORK SUMMARY

Provide safe transportation for patients and guests to and from the airport, hotels, various appointments and leisure time, as scheduled. He will warmly welcome guests, assisting guests with luggage and introducing the guest to his or her destination. The driver will provide transportation to and from the activities and outingsplanned and sponsored. He will provide support to the Guest Services department to enhance the guest experience, support his team and promote the culture of the organization.The driver can be the first in-person point of contact for any of our guests with the Center and the A desire to exceed guest expectations and provide support and comfort is central to the role.

WORKING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport patients and guests to and from the airport, out of hotels, doctors’ offices and other locations as designated. Assist patients and guests with luggage. Transport patients within the hospital and to their accommodation, if applicable.
• Clean the vehicle according to the department’s policies and monitor the vehicle’s maintenance needs, informing the supervisor of the required maintenance.
• Support the department as needed and designated: answer phones, act as a dispatcher, park guest vehicles as directed, order supplies, and serve as a team player.
• Support associated departments as needed and designated: transport/accompany patients and guests, assist the concierge with guest requests, assist guests with luggage, assist with room check-in as needed, and act as a team player.

Required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 1-3 years of driving experience

Education: high school diploma or equivalent

Certification: BLS/CPR (within 1 month of rental)

Credentials for ground transportation at the airport (within 1 month of rental)

driving licensedriving license of Arizona valid
