Job Title: Legal Entity Controller

LOB: The CFO Group

Location: London

An opportunity has become available for a Legal Entity Controller to join the wider CFO Group based in the London Office. This role will report into the EMEA Legal Entity Controller will be responsible for providing financial reporting for European Banking Entities. Manages internal and external stakeholder requirements and provides strong controls and oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Legal entity controller for European Bank and UK Banking entity
  • Work closely as key support for European Bank CFO and EMEA legal entity controller
  • Manage production of legal entity financial reporting
  • Project Deliverables in evolving business
  • Manages external relationship with external auditors
  • Indirectly manages a team of ten people in Global Financial Control Team in India

The Team:

You will be joining a team of six people in London that provide oversight and local stakeholder management for legal entity financials which are prepared by team of twenty in the Global Financial Control team in India (GFC).

Core Skills:

  • Degree Level requirement and preferred Accounting qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team and collaborate, while contributing individually and across other teams
  • Confident communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Legal entity financial reporting or tax reporting experience.
  • Experience within a Finance or similar function within an International Corporate/Investment Bank desirable
