Responsibilities
Help the dentist through a variety of treatment procedures.
Educate patients about appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
Infection Control Department – Preparation and Sterilization of Tools and Equipment
Perform various office tasks as necessary.
Provide patients with instructions for oral care after following all dental procedures.
Preparation and detailing of post-operative treatment
Take x-ray pictures.
Minimum Requirements
Dental assistant certification as state regulations specify.
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
Evidence of COVID vaccination is necessary to work as a health care worker in states with vaccination mandates. ”
