SiliconExpert Business Development Associate (ARROW) open position

We are looking for a proactive and energetic Business Development Associate to help drive new business growth within Arrow’s existing customer base. This position is tasked with building relationships with Arrow’s sales team (field sales managers and account development representatives) in order to (via Arrow) gain new net customers for SiliconExpert. Other functions will include market research, message creation, A/B testing of messages via Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to create best practices. A big part of the role will be to empower Arrow’s sales representatives, earn their trust and, as a result, schedule meetings with their customers. This role will work closely with the business development representative’s territory leader and regional sales manager to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual growth targets.

The successful candidate is resourceful, dedicated, organized, motivated to increase sales, has a team player mentality, and looks for new and creative ways to attract new customers. Having sales experience is highly desirable, just as understanding Arrow is an advantage. It is preferable to understand the value of personalized outreach messages to customers.

Main responsibilities:

Business Development Associates help companies drive growth and sales. They identify new business opportunities, build customer relationships, conduct market research and test new business strategies. They work individually and as a team to grow the business. In this role, you will:

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with Arrow sales reps by Arrow branch
  • Empower Arrow sales reps with an understanding of the SE value proposition (what’s in it to Arrow Representative and What Value to Arrow Customer)
  • Make meetings with Arrow representatives to build momentum with your customer base
  • Work closely with Arrow team from all departments to implement growth strategies
  • Conduct outbound activities and strategies from potential customers (email/calls)
  • Conduct activities and surveys to drive more difficult conversations and identify leads
  • Collect customer and potential customer information in the CRM database
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, collect new ideas for customer service through conversations with potential customers and research and use this information to improve sales momentum and marketing strategies
  • Lead and assist with sales pitches, presentations
  • Create lead communications, reference material, and other documents as needed
  • Need to manage multiple projects simultaneously, achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • Supportinbound campaigns to ultimately win business for SiliconExpert
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with multiple levels of management, staff and customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • MBA or related (preferred)
  • 1 year of SaaS experience
  • Understanding of core customer base Arrow
  • 1-2 years of outreach experience/unsolicited calls
  • Outreach experience (preferred)
  • Great attention to detail
  • 1 – 2 years relevant professional experience in business development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Writing experience
  • Ability to work in environments Agile
  • Ability to work under pressure (your success/failure is quickly visible in Sales)
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Extroverted and personal behavior
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software

Annual hiring range/hourly rate:

$64,286.96 – $78,572.96

The actual compensation offer to the candidate may vary from the published hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. The payment relationship between the base pay and the target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized in the offer.
