Position Description

We are seeking a Veterinarian to join the Dhahran Recreation Services Division of Central Community Services Department.

The Dhahran Recreation Services Division is responsible for providing a high-quality recreation & concession services, programs and products that warrant Saudi Aramco employees and their dependents to be engaged and stimulated physically, socially, spiritually, intellectually and emotionally while ensuring that Saudi Aramco standards are in strict adherence

The Veterinarian’s primary role is to provides professional veterinary services, including both surgical and medical diagnostics and treatment, as required to all animals

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate minimum hold a Bachelor’s degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM] from a recognized and approved program or preferred a Masters in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Three to Five years’ experience in both surgical and medical experience. Supervision of all Veterinary Services and directs administrative activities of the Clinics. To be licensed to practice Veterinary Medicine form the Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture- Animal Welfare in KSA. NAVLE (The American Veterinary Medical Association) or (The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners) For Small and Large animals; Companion animal certification sets include dogs and cats; cats alone; amphibians and reptiles; exotic pet mammals, like hamsters or ferrets; and birds. Besides a broad food animal category, the ABVP also offers certification in the care of beef cattle, dairy cattle, or horses.

Candidate veterinarians must present a practice description showing how often they care for the target species, as well as taking an exam and submitting written case reports that demonstrate their medical judgment.


Duties & Responsibilities

Provides clinical and surgical veterinary services as detailed for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Carries out and amends established procedures for professional veterinary services concerned with animal treatment, vaccination and record maintenance.

Maintains standards of proper professional veterinary practice directs and supervises animal control and rabies prevention programs as per approved medical practices.

Provide consultation and advice for other Veterinarians. Oversee Boarding and Grooming Services through the function of the Boarding Coordinator.
