About the job
- Support the development of AIMS corporate strategy including its vision, mission, values, strategic objectives, KPIs, and related Strategy and Performance policies, procedures, forms, and templates.
- Utilize tools in developing the strategy including SWOT analysis, PESTLE, stakeholder analysis, value proposition, Capability Maturity Model (CMM) ,etc.
- Support and guide other Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and departments in the development of their respective strategic business plans. Also, track progress of agreed business plans, preparing Annual Reports and following up on identified action items.
- Monitor the implementation of business plans to support and enable AIMS strategic objectives.
- Review proposals relating to major initiatives deployed by AIMS’s Holding and SBUs to ensure alignment and enablement of the organization’s strategic objectives. Develop initiatives indicators and monitor their progress
- Identify & Report any critical issues or deviation from the strategy or business plan to management.
- Provide coordination and/or facilitation in the execution of regular and special tasks related to Organizational Excellence and Strategy Management.
- Assist in identifying gaps in the governance and control environment within the business, and in formulating and implementing solutions to address gaps.
- Work with all team members, to define and build the organizational and analytical processes that will drive the strategy function
- Maintain and update strategic scorecard and other tools to assess and drive high-quality execution of our global strategy

- Maintain and update strategic scorecard and other tools to assess and drive high-quality execution of our global strategy
- Design and develop an automated performance tracking for corporate balance scorecards and dashboards /KPIs.
· Support the performance management and reporting needs of AIMS and work collaboratively to support the design, development, and maintenance of AIMS’s Performance Management Program to ensure that the SBU’s BSCs/KPIs data in terms of sources, methods of collection, ownership are well defined, captured and analyzed appropriately.
- Draw reliable and timely financial and non-financial data and information together from multiple sources (i.e. SBUs, Departments, etc.) and provide thorough analysis, insights and options to enable the Leadership team to make sound business decisions while identifying with the input from SBU’s reasons for underperformance,
- Provide management with reports related to Balanced Scorecards /key performance indicators (KPIs), financial modelling, variance analysis, as well as process improvements benefits realization.
- Provide financial analysis and management reporting, including delivery of commentaries and executive summaries to support leaders’ decisions, provide impacts and quantifications of prospective or potential decisions.
- Support the development of business cases to provide cost/benefit analysis
- Design and deliver ad hoc performance reporting and analytics for a range of business requirements.
- Participate in system implementation projects to ensure OE’s data and reporting requirements are met.
- Support the financial modelling activity for strategic business opportunities and initiatives using a range of modelling and scenario-building tools, ensuring rigorous testing of assumptions and risks to aid high quality decision-making by the Leadership team
- Assist with data mining and modelling to support the efficient calculation of incentive plans / bonuses for the multiple AIMS incentives plans.
- Support existing data owners in their data management practices (i.e. defining sources, methods of collections, mechanisms for reporting, etc.) to ensure a single reliable source of data.
- The ability to transform data into actionable insights using modeling and statistical analysis to identify past trends and inform future strategies
- Identify & Report any critical issues or deviation from the strategy or business plan to management.

Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, Economics, or Statistics, or in a related field
- MBA degree or Master in related field will be preferred
- Communication Skills: Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate the insights from findings to management and relevant stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills: Must be intellectually curious individuals with strong creative and imaginative ability to generate ideas to solve business problems. Always open to new approaches, challenge the status quo and inspire creativity with entrepreneurial spirit and a bias for action.
- Critical thinking: require strong critical thinking abilities to draw sound conclusions from information and various data sources at their disposal. It is crucial that they can separate relevant information from less vital ones with respect to solving a particular business problem. They must also have the capacity to analyze data objectively, applying logical thought and proffering solutions, taking a long-term perspective
- 8+ years’ experience in performance management including 5+ years in an area overseeing Strategy Management (i.e. Office of Strategy Management or EPMO)
- Professional Certifications are preferred (i.e. PMP, etc.)
- Relevant industry experience in real estate, investment, or hospitality is preferred.
- Advanced skills (with proven practical experience) in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, MS Power BI, or other data analytics and reporting platforms is a must. Also, must be an expert user of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced knowledge of data management and SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong knowledge of business planning, budgeting and budget review processes, financial modelling, and performance analytics and reporting
- A track record of facilitating cooperation and working collaboratively in partnership with stakeholders from Holding, SBUs, and external/3rd party teams (i.e. consultants, etc.)
- Drives results and contributes to change processes that improve organizational performance and creates a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Able to prioritize, focus and balance multiple priorities at all times. Can assess situations, make decisions, and get things done, with a high degree of agility and precision
- Competent in preparing high quality presentations, reports and briefings intended for board and senior management.
