• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality and safety system.
• Responsible for the manufacture of medical, pediatric nutritional productsand liquid adults. Lifting and physical handling of raw materials during weighing, preparation and manufacturing processes, material handling/dispensing, scale operations, portable pumps, container rinsers, homogenizers
• Hand cleaning, cleaning in place ( CIP), heat treatment systems, cleaning out of place (COP), routine cleaning
• Interaction with computer systems that are integrated into the manufacturing process along with documentation of the manufacturing steps in accordance with the work order and work procedures.
• Preparation/operation/monitoring/documentation of bulk sludge for mixing operations, heat treatment processes, controlled weighing system of batch ingredients
• Operation/monitoring/documentation of a computer -controlled clean-in-place (CIP) system used for manufacturing equipment (i.e. tanks, heat treatment system, etc.)
• Receiving and unloading of bulk raw materials and products CIP chemicals
• You will be responsible for complying with our compliance standards, including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures. for

Required
for EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU WILL TAKE

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds during the shift
• Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements.
• Ability to read and follow work order documents, troubleshoot equipment, and operate industrial vehiclesmotorized.
• Must possess good mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills. for

Preferred

• Experience in a plant production environment (preferably in the manufacture of medicines, food or beverages). for
